The problem
SNEX had a product they believed in: a healthy snack line with real potential. But everything around it was holding them back. Their brand identity was inconsistent and didn't reflect the quality of what was actually inside the packaging. The packaging itself had to do two things at once: stand out on shelves and in social feeds, while meeting the sustainability standards their target audience cares about. On top of that, there was no online sales channel. No webshop, no structured digital presence, no way to sell directly to customers.
A strong product, but no brand foundation to build on.
How we tackled it
We started where we always start: with the audience. Before touching a single visual element, we mapped out who SNEX's ideal customer actually is. How they shop for healthy snacks, what builds their trust, and what makes them choose one brand over another in a category that's full of options.
That research shaped every decision that followed. It told us the visual identity had to feel fresh and energetic without falling into the "clean eating" cliche that half the category already looks like. It told us the packaging needed to communicate health and quality within the first two seconds of seeing it on a shelf or a screen. And it told us the webshop had to remove friction at every step, because this audience shops quickly and abandons even quicker.
Our approach
We built the brand from the ground up. The visual identity was designed to be bold enough to compete on shelf but flexible enough to work across a growing product range. Each product variant has its own colour within a unified system, so the lineup feels cohesive without every pack looking the same.
For the packaging, we balanced sustainability with shelf presence. The materials align with SNEX's values, but we made sure those choices never came at the cost of visual impact. The design draws the eye first and communicates the brand's story second, in the right order.
The e-commerce side was built on Shopify with a fully custom Liquid theme. No template, no page builder. The shop was designed around the buying behaviour we identified in the research phase: fast product comparison, clear nutritional information without overwhelming the page, and a checkout flow with as few steps as possible. Every layout decision and piece of content hierarchy was informed by how people actually browse and buy in this category.
The result
SNEX launched with a brand that looks and feels like it belongs next to established players in the healthy snack space. The packaging system scales cleanly as new products are added. And the webshop converts, because it was built around how their customers actually shop, not around a generic template.
