The problem
T'Hooft Buitengewoon has been selling quality outdoor furniture and garden products for over three generations. Their products are built to last through the Belgian climate, and their in-store experience is personal and knowledgeable. But their website didn't reflect any of that. The design was outdated, the product presentation didn't do the range justice, and the site generated almost no organic traffic.
People searching for quality outdoor furniture online weren't finding T'Hooft. The webshop and the physical store were both missing out on visitors who were actively looking for exactly what they sell. Three generations of expertise, invisible to search engines.
How we tackled it
We looked at two things. First, how people shop for outdoor furniture online. They browse visually, compare materials and durability, and want to see products in real outdoor settings. The website needed to show the products the way the showroom does: quality you can feel through the screen. Second, how they find outdoor furniture. Search behaviour in this category is specific: people search by product type, material, brand, and use case. The SEO strategy had to match that specificity.
